Bradford Team Completes Four New Leases for Kennington Commercial’s DFW Portfolio

Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services has signed three new tenants and one renewal at separate locations in Kennington Commercial’s DFW portfolio, filling 41,238 square feet of updated flex space and achieving 100 percent occupancy at two projects. Kennington’s newly signed leases include two in Farmers Branch, Texas. Bridgeway Preparatory Academy took 19,200 square feet in Valley View Commerce Center, 1861 Valley View Lane and Airway Technologies LLC leased 5,981 square feet in Alpha Business Center, 4300 Alpha Road. Additional leases include the 13,776 square feet that Eberl Claims Service LLC renewed for in Skyway Corporate Center, 3109 Skyway Circle N in Irving, Texas and Closet Envy, which leased 2,981 square feet in Whitlock Business Center, 1325 Whitlock Lane, Carrollton, Texas. “Kennington Commercial is willing to spend the money to upgrade its properties. These deals show the value of that strategy,” said Brian Pafford, executive vice president and managing partner for Dallas-based Bradford. He and Susan Singer, also an executive vice president, lease the portfolio for the local landlord. Matt Miller of Jim Lake Advisors represented Bridgeway Preparatory Academy and Ryan Boozer of Stream Realty Partners DFW was the tenant rep for Eberl Claims Services. Airway Technologies’ broker was Todd Noonan, also with Stream Realty, and Closet Envy’s negotiator was Jodie Flannery of KW Commercial Real Estate. “Brokers in the marketplace are confident in bringing deals to Kennington Commercial,” Pafford said. “The landlord has a reputation for a personal approach and taking good care of its properties and tenants.” The 43,280-square-foot Valley View Commerce Center and the four-building Alpha Business Center, totaling 50,031 square feet, are now 100 percent leased. Both properties underwent significant exterior and interior improvements. “Alpha Business Center was completely vacant when we were awarded the assignment. It now has nine long-term tenants, which is quite an accomplishment,” Pafford said. Kennington Commercial is putting its renovation strategy to work at its newest holding, the 52,431-square-foot Skyway Corporate Center, which was acquired in May 2020. Exterior upgrades are under way. On the interior, an 18,540-square-foot block of fully air-conditioned warehouse space has been retooled into an open floor plan, creating more functional space for the project’s only vacancy.
